Excellent produit déjà utilisé depuis 3 ans. Permet couplé avec une box z wave de protéger un lieu contre les fumées et d'ouvrir les volets électriques automatiquement des le début de l'alarme, pour éviter de rester coincé dans le logement.

Yes. It can work like a conventional battery operated smoke detector. In fact, it doesn't need to be added to a Z-Wave controller. It can simply detect smoke and signal an alarm with its built-in siren. Of course, if you add it to a Z-Wave controller, you'll find a wide range of possibilities.

It is not possible. This device is only a sensor, not a Z-Wave siren.

The FIBARO Smoke Detector is equipped with an LED diode, it allows to display the operating modes and alarms of the detector.

The LED indicator also shows the Z-Wave network range and current temperature.

FIRE ALARM, TAMPER ALARM, MALFUNCTION ALARM – flashes red

Z-WAVE NETWORK RANGE – flashes pink

BATTERY NEARLY FULL – flashes yellow

There is only one way to reset the FIBARO Smoke Detector. Resetting the FIBARO Smoke Detector erases the EPROM memory, including all information about the Z-Wave network and the main controller.

However, resetting the device will not delete the device from the Z-Wave main controller memory. Before resetting the device, it must be excluded from the Z-Wave network.

1. Press and hold button B for 3 seconds until the LED lights up white.

2. Release button B when a short beep sounds.

3. Wait until the LED lights up yellow signaling entry into the 4th menu.

4. Briefly press button B to confirm the choice.

5. A successful reset will be confirmed by the LED lighting up red. A short beep will sound at the same time.

When you are in the Z-Wave network range test mode, the LED indicates the status of the Z-Wave communication.

FLASHING GREEN – The detector is trying to establish direct communication with the main controller

GREEN – The detector is in direct communication with the main controller

FLASHING YELLOW – The detector is trying to establish communication with the main controller via other modules

YELLOW – The detector is in indirect communication with the main controller

FLASHING PURPLE – The detector is communicating with the controller at the limit of the controller's range

RED – The detector cannot connect to the main controller, either directly or through other nodes in the Z-Wave network

When navigating through the menus, the MENU levels are indicated by the different colors of the LED. To enter the MENU, press and hold the B button. Once the LED turns white, release the B button. The LED will then begin to change colors in a specific order.

Each color corresponds to a different MENU level. Press the TMP button to confirm your choice.

Transitions between MENU levels will be signaled by a short beep.

WHITE - Confirmation of entry into the self-test MENU

GREEN – Refresh alarm status for associated devices

ROSE - Z-Wave Network Range Test

YELLOW - Sensor Reset

1. My FIBARO Smoke Detector has no power.

The FIBARO Smoke Detector must be powered. Please check your Detector's power supply. Then close the case and put it back in place.

If your FIBARO Smoke Detector is mains powered, be sure to disconnect the power before opening the case.

2. The FIBARO Smoke Detector has been reset.

After resetting the FIBARO Smoke Detector, it returns to its default settings. You have to start its inclusion to the Z-Wave controller again.

3. The FIBARO Smoke Detector is out of range of the Z-Wave controller.

The FIBARO Smoke Detector must be within direct range of the Z-Wave controller or within range of another node on the Z-Wave mesh network.

4. The FIBARO Smoke Detector is damaged.

Please contact your dealer to initiate the warranty procedure for your FIBARO Smoke Detector.

1. The battery is almost discharged.

Replace the battery with a new one.

2. The detector is out of network range.

The FIBARO Smoke Sensor must be within direct range of the Z-Wave controller or within range of another node on the Z-Wave mesh network.

3. A malfunction has occurred in the enclosure.

It is signaled by an audible alarm at very short intervals, defined by parameter No. 84. Please contact your retailer to initiate the warranty procedure for your FIBARO Smoke Sensor.

1. The FIBARO Smoke Sensor is too close to a heat source or has drafts.

The FIBARO Smoke Sensor should not be placed near heat sources. Please move it.

2. The applied temperature compensation value is inappropriate.

Parameter No. 73 of the FIBARO Smoke Sensor allows modification of the value of the compensation for the temperature detected. Check that the value of this parameter is correct. Remember that the temperature can vary from place to place, even within a single room.

1. The interval between two alarm clocks is too short.

Please change the time interval between two alarm clocks in the Z-Wave controller settings.

2. Temperature reports are sent too frequently.

Please modify the duration of the time intervals and/or the threshold between two temperature reports in Advanced Settings No. 10 and 12.

3. FIBARO Smoke Detector sends false alarms.

The sensitivity of the FIBARO Smoke Sensor is adjustable. Please check the value of Advanced Parameter No. 82.

1. FIBARO Smoke Sensor is already included with another Z-Wave controller.

The FIBARO Smoke Sensor must be deleted using the Z-Wave controller or must be reset as follows:

a) press and hold button B until the LED turns yellow.

b) release button B and press it again. You can then replace your Sensor.

2. The FIBARO Smoke Sensor is too far from the Z-Wave controller.

The FIBARO Smoke Sensor must be within direct range of the Z-Wave controller during the inclusion process.

3. The FIBARO Smoke Sensor is not powered

The FIBARO Smoke Sensor must be powered. Please check your Sensor's power supply. Then close the case and put it back in place.

If your FIBARO Smoke Sensor is mains powered, be sure to disconnect the power before opening the case.

4. The FIBARO Smoke Sensor has a different frequency (EU, US, or ANZ) than your Z-Wave controller.

The FIBARO Smoke Sensor must operate on the same Z-Wave frequency (EU, US, or ANZ) as your Z-Wave controller. Please contact your dealer to exchange it.

5. The FIBARO Smoke Sensor is damaged.

Please contact your dealer to initiate the warranty procedure.

5. After 3 seconds after the first beep, the operation of the smoke chamber will be checked

Sounding the fire alarm and a beep means a positive result and should occur within 10 seconds. No fire alarm means the sensor is malfunctioning.
