How to test the proper functioning of the FIBARO Smoke Sensor (without real smoke)?
1. Make sure the device is powered on
2. Press and hold button B
3. The visual indicator will turn white and a short alarm will sound
4. Hold button B
5. After 3 seconds after the first beep, the operation of the smoke chamber will be checked
Sounding the fire alarm and a beep means a positive result and should occur within 10 seconds. No fire alarm means the sensor is malfunctioning.
