Why can't my FIBARO Motion Sensor be included with my Z-Wave controller?
1. FIBARO Motion Sensor is already included in another Z-Wave controller.
FIBARO Motion Sensor must be deleted using the Z-Wave controller or must be reset as follows:
a) open the cover of the device,
b) press and hold button B until the LED turns yellow.
c) release the button and press again.
d) close the cover and replace the sensor.
2. The FIBARO Motion Sensor is too far from the Z-Wave controller.
The FIBARO Motion Sensor must be within direct range of the Z-Wave controller during the inclusion process.
3. The FIBARO Motion Sensor is not powered.
The FIBARO Motion Sensor must be powered. Check if your detector is receiving power by opening the housing cover and checking the battery.
Then close the case and put it back in place.
Before using a FIBARO Motion Sensor, remember to remove the "I'm ready" tab.
4. The FIBARO Motion Sensor has a different frequency (EU, US, or ANZ) than your Z-Wave controller.
The FIBARO Motion Sensor must operate on the same Z-Wave frequency (EU, US, or ANZ) as your Z-Wave controller. Please contact your dealer to exchange it.
5. The FIBARO Motion Sensor is damaged
Please contact your dealer to initiate the warranty procedure for your FIBARO Motion Sensor.
