Why did my FIBARO Flood Detector stop reporting alarms to my Z-Wave controller?

1. FIBARO Flood Detector has been reset.

After resetting the FIBARO Flood Detector, it returns to its default settings. You have to start its inclusion to the Z-Wave controller again.

2. The battery of the FIBARO Flood Detector is almost discharged.

The FIBARO Flood Detector must be powered. Check if your battery is effectively discharged by opening the case of your FIBARO Flood Detector. Then close the case and put it back in place.

NOTE: Before using a FIBARO Flood Detector, remember to remove the “I'm ready” tab.

3. The FIBARO Flood Detector is not powered.

The FIBARO Flood Detector must be powered. b) open the case of the device and check that terminals 12 and GND are well connected to the mains, check the power supply. If your FIBARO Flood Detector is powered by a battery, check the battery. Then close the case and put it back in place.

4. The FIBARO Flood Sensor is out of range of the Z-Wave controller.

The FIBARO Flood Detector is out of range of the Z-Wave controller. It must be within direct range of the Z-Wave controller or within range of another node on the Z-Wave mesh network.

5. The FIBARO Flood Detector is damaged

Please contact your dealer to initiate the warranty procedure for your FIBARO Flood Detector.
