FIBARO Home Center 2 home automation controller

The Fibaro Home Center 2 is a consumer electronic device used for home automation. It communicates with electronic sensors and devices located throughout the home using wireless and wired communications and connects to a central server using an existing broadband connection (cable or DSL). Featuring an internal Z-Wave chipset, it allows the user to control sensors, devices, lights and automations.

Equipped with a modern all-aluminum design making it a pleasant object to see and use, it also has characteristics worthy of a small computer with an Intel processor clocked at 1.6Ghz and 1GB of RAM memory. It also has two SSDs (MLC and SLC) for system storage and backup system.

The Fibaro Home Center 2 is based on an Atom processor from Intel. This gives it computing power to match its ambitions: To be the fastest Z-Wave gateway on the market. Thanks to this power, all orders processed are instantaneous, and the reaction of the box is immediate.

4GB MLC Recovery Disc

It has an internal 4GB MLC SSD hard drive. This disk is used for backing up the home automation system. So there is no risk of losing your configuration. If something goes wrong, you can easily restore your system.

1GB RAM - 2GB SLC disk

The Fibaro system itself is installed on a 2GB SLC disk and has a 1GB RAM memory. With its powerful processor and generous memory size for a product of this type, the Fibaro Home Center 2 will impress you with its speed and fluidity.

The Home Center 2 controller has a very intuitive interface, whether for managing the different Z-Wave devices or creating rules for your different scenarios.
