With the THS-317-ET module you accurately measure the temperature of a space, a material or a liquid.
Thanks to its remote probe, it is possible to measure the temperature of a pipe, such as that of the heating water for example, the temperature of a swimming pool or the temperature of a refrigerator or freezer while positioning the module outside of space.

OWON THS-317-ET: Zigbee 3.0 temperature sensor with external probe Instruction/spec's are not specific and incomplete and also general (for all types: PIR sensor, without probe, with inside humidity/temp., With probe and only for temp. The OWON comes with screws/plugs and a sticker to mount the back-plate of the with box. There also a print of the quick install guide. The screw (deep) at the back of the box is not for opening the box. Do NOT pull the (bottom)back-plate. You open the white box by shifting the back-plate in the right direction. You shift the back-plate away from where the cable enters the box. After opening the box this way, you can remove the earlier mentioned screw with small Phillips screwdriver to open the inside part (be aware the warranty expires!). After placing 2 AAA-batteries in the box, I pushed the black button and was able to pair the OWON to my Zigbee Home Assistant(HA) with a SONOFF ZigBee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus. I currently cannot test if the box also pairs under Zigbee2MQTT with Home Assistant. I also successfully paired the OWON to my Lupus Electronics XT2-plus (XT2-plus) Alarm/Smarthome Hub. On the HA and the XT2-plus it took several attempts to get it paired. On the HA and the XT2-plus it then works successfully. I see the temperature and its history. The OWON sends a temperature update every 15-20 minutes. If the temperature raised or felled fast the OWON send almost direct the new temperature to the HA and the XT2-plus. If I put the sensor (not the box!) in the freezer it drops to -19,7 Degrees Celsius and than go up to +327,7 Degrees Celsius and when I took it out the metal sensor had ice on it. So it seemed the -19,7 is the minimum temp. you can measure (OWON spec's say: -10), but it could also be that the ice forming on the metal sensor was to blame for this “strange” +327,7 value. I therefore did a second test with the sensor in a plastic bag that I sealed (closed) with tape, this to "isolate" it and to avoid ice forming on the metal sensor. Now the temp. falls to -16 Degrees Celsius and stays on this value (the freezer is set on -16 and I cannot put it on lower temperature). The last test duration was 40 minutes and it stayed on -16 all time until I removed the sensor from the freezer. So I am not able to test the minimum temp. which this sensor can measure. On both "cold" tests in the "freezer" the Zigbee box was in the scullery (arrière-cuisine) where the temp. was around the 7 Degrees Celsius. Normally Zigbee s
