Calibration is a process in which a roller shutter discovers the position of the limit switches and the characteristics of the motor. Calibration is mandatory so that the roller shutter can correctly recognize the position of the blind. The procedure consists of a total automatic movement between the limit switches (up, down and up). There are separate procedures for calibrating the positioning of blinds and slats (venetian blinds). Each time the calibration requires the completion of a complete cycle (from top to bottom).

Calibration via the Z-Wave network

1. Make sure the module is powered

2. Add the device to the Z-Wave network

3. Set Parameter 29 to 1

4. The device will go through the calibration process, completing the full cycle - up, down and up again

5. The value of parameter 29 will automatically be set to 0

6. Test if the positioning works correctly

Calibration using switch keys

1. Make sure the module is powered and the switch is connected to terminals S1 and S2.

2. Add the device to the Z-Wave network

3. Press and hold the button connected to input terminal S1 or S2, then release it at least 3 seconds later

4. Press the same button again and release it after 3 seconds

5. Now press and hold the same button, for 3 seconds, for the 3rd time

6. After pressing and releasing the button for the third time, the automatic calibration sequence begins

7. The device will go through the calibration process, completing the full cycle - up, down and up again

8. Test if the positioning works correctly

Calibration via the menu (button B)

1. Make sure the module is powered

2. Add the device to the Z-Wave network

3. Press and hold button B

4. Wait for the visual indicator to turn yellow (4th position of the MENU)

5. Release button B

6. Short press button B again

7. The device will go through the calibration process, completing the full cycle - up, down and up again

8. Test if the positioning works correctly

The reset procedure erases the module's EPROM memory, including all data information regarding the Z-Wave network controller, calibration, and power consumption.

1. Make sure the device is powered

2. Press and hold button B

3. Wait for the visual indicator to turn yellow (4th position of the MENU)

4. Release button B

5. Press button B again, briefly

6. After a few seconds, the device will reboot with auto-include mode enabled

7.To exit auto-inclusion mode, press the B key. Resetting the Micromodule for roller shutters will not cause it to be erased from the memory of the Z-Wave network controller. To add the device to the Z-Wave network again, you will need to exclude it first.
