The Shelly Motion2 sensor is powered by Silicon Labs' IoT Wi-Fi solutions and equipped with the world's lowest power Wi-Fi modem in mass production. Its sensitivity has been enhanced by the addition of a temperature sensor for the ultimate home automation experience.

Ultra-long battery life

Shelly Motion2 has a 6500 mAh rechargeable battery with a Type C charger. Battery life depends entirely on use. Installed in a space with regular motion activity - such as the family living room or kitchen - battery life will be in excess of 1 year. However, in standby mode, the sensor's battery life can be as long as 3 years.

Quick response in the blink of an eye

Shelly Motion2 detects movement in less than 200 milliseconds - as fast as the blink of an eye! And immediately triggers an action like turning on the lights.

Compatible with other devices

Shelly Motion2 can trigger other smart devices in your home network and customize actions based on time, light or other actions.

256 sensitivity levels

256 sensitivity levels enable you to set the distance and movement to which the sensor reacts with extreme precision. Easily adjust sensitivity levels via the app, wherever you are.

Tamper detection

Install Shelly Motion2 and rest assured that it will inform you immediately if someone touches the device or tries to dislocate or move it from its original position.

No hub required

Shelly Motion2 can be controlled directly and hublessly via your smartphone with the Shelly Cloud app. Manage and control your home's heating, define quick profiles, scenes, schedules and adjust settings wherever you are via Cloud access, or just on the local network!

Supported platforms

Use devices with your local or centralized server - you can isolate them completely from the public Internet. Shelly Motion2 is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant, Smart Things and other third-party home automation platforms.
