My FIBARO Smoke Sensor has stopped communicating with my Z-Wave controller.

1. My FIBARO Smoke Detector has no power.

If your FIBARO Smoke Detector is mains powered, be sure to disconnect the power before opening the case.

2. The FIBARO Smoke Detector has been reset.

After resetting the FIBARO Smoke Detector, it returns to its default settings. You have to start its inclusion to the Z-Wave controller again.

3. The FIBARO Smoke Detector is out of range of the Z-Wave controller.

The FIBARO Smoke Detector must be within direct range of the Z-Wave controller or within range of another node on the Z-Wave mesh network.
